How This Came to Be

Fifty is a big milestone, particularly for women. It’s a “make it or break it moment” in your physical health—much harder to reverse the clock from that point on.

This is a journey of two lifelong friends who, upon realizing THE BIG 5-0 is just a few years away, decided to be proactive about it. They both have personal health and fitness goals that have been gnawing away at them for years, they both want to build up their strength and stamina, and they’re both determined to reach 50 looking as hot as they know they have the power to become.  

Time to Move Those Tails!

This site is a portal for sharing information, tracking results, recording blunders (hey, shit happens), and providing encouragement. Our shared mission is to achieve sustainable, healthy bodies and fully recharged self-esteem by mid-2028. We refuse to allow ourselves to become slow, pudgy, weak old fox ladies, and now’s the best time to nip this in the bud! We’ve got this!

OK but really, is there anything more frustrating than having BEEN fit and now…NOT?? Puffing out of breath doing things that wouldn’t have phased you 2 years ago? UGH. Remember running? Remember not having to turn sideways to get through a tight spot? Remember feeling carefree and being able to move around the world easily? Remember THOSE jeans?? You know the ones. Ok. Enough pity. 

Now here’s the kinda cool thing about us gals…together, we have superpowers!! Just the act of checking in with each other has already made a huge difference. Holding each other accountable is going to be key to this, for me at least. So let’s rally, hold each other up and get FOXY 4 FIFTY!!
